Ingredients
1 cup washed and chopped cabbage
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tsp oil
Lil tamarind
1 tsp coriander seeds/daniya
1/2 tsp cumin seeds/jeera
4-5 methi seeds/fenugreek
2-3 dry red chillies
For the tempering:
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
4 garlic cloves
1 red chilli
1 sprig of curry leaf
Procedure
In a pan saute onion for 5 mins
Add chopped cabbage, salt and fry till it is cooked
Transfer it to a bowl
In the same pan put coriander seeds, methi, cumin seeds, red chillies and fry till brown colour
When it comes to room temperature grind the fried ingredients with fried cabbage, onion mixture, tamarind, salt to taste with Lil water
Temper with the ingredients mentioned.
