
Ingredients
2 cups gobi florets
2 tsp + 3 tsp oil
2 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
1 tsp grated ginger
2 tomatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp Kitchen King masala
2 tsp red chilli powder
1green chilli chopped
2 tsp Kasuri methi
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
Procedure
Cut the gobi and put in salt water for 20 mins
Remove it from water and put in a strainer and saute it in 2 tsp oil with salt till it is cooked
Grind the tomatoes and keep them aside
In a pan heat oil, add jeera, ginger and green chillies and fry
Put the tomato pureed and fry till the raw smell disappears
Add all the spices, fried gobi, salt to taste and 1/4 cup water and cook for 5-10 mins
add Kasuri methi and chopped coriander leaves and toss well
serve with roti
In the original recipe, the chef had deep fried the gobi, if you want to make the sabzi richer in taste then you can deep fry it.
