Masala Kaju / Kaju Mathri

This is a flour-fried crispy chunk, in the shape of Kaju / cashew nuts. Tastes yummy with hot coffee or tea.




Ingredients

100 gms maida (all-purpose flour)

100 gms wheat flour

5 tsp oil

Salt to taste

Oil for frying


For the masala: Mix 2 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp chat masala 2 tsp roasted cumin powder and keep aside.



Procedure

  • Mix both flours with salt, oil, and water to form a medium tight dough

  • Make lemon size balls and roll roti

  • Cut into this shape with the help of a small lid

  • Deep fry and sprinkle masala over it

  • Serve hot with coffee or tea.
