A small twist in Neer dosa, with added chopped onions and chillies. Neer dosa is very popular in South Kanara District. Thin dosa prepared with soaked rice and coconut gratings, tastes awesome for breakfast.
Ingredients
2 cups dosa rice
1 cup grated coconut
salt to taste
1 chopped onion
2 tbsp soaked chana dal
2 chopped green chillies
curry leaves finely chopped
coriander leaves finely chopped
Oil for making dosa
Procedure
Soak rice for 5 hours in water
Wash the rice and grind with coconut into a fine paste
Add water, salt and all other ingredients
Batter consistency is very thin like any other neer dosa
Heat Tava and pour one ladle full batter, add 1 tsp oil and cook on a medium flame
Serve hot with any chutney.
