Matar Gobi






Ingredients

1 cup green peas(matar)

1 cup gobi cut into florets(cauliflower)

3 tsp oil

1 tsp jeera

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 chopped onions

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp daniya jeera powder(cumin and coriander powder)

2 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp Kasuri methi

1/4 cup curd

2 tblsp fresh cream

Salt to taste

coriander leaves for garnishing




Procedure

  • Boil green peas and deep fry gobi florets and keep aside

  • In a pan take oil to add jeera, and chopped onion, and saute for 5 minutes

  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry

  • Put all the spices and fry

  • Add boiled peas and fried gobi

  • Put cream and curd and mix well so that the masala coats well

  • Add salt, Kasuri methi and make it boil for 5 minutes

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and grated paneer or cheese

  • Serve hot with roti, naan, etc...
