Ingredients
1 cup fresh green peas (matar)
1/4 cup finely chopped methi leaves(fenugreek leaves)
2 finely chopped medium-sized onions
3 green chillies
4 garlic cloves
1/2 inch ginger
1 tomato( make a paste)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder(Haldi)
1 tsp Kasuri methi
2 tsp cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup curds
5 tsp oil
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp sugar
Chopped coriander leaves and cream for garnishing
Procedure
Boil the green peas with salt
Make a paste of green chillies, ginger and garlic
In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onions till translucent
Add green chilli paste and fry for 3 minutes
Add tomato paste, turmeric powder and fry for 5 mins
Add chopped methi leaves and fry for 5 minutes
Put boiled matar, salt, sugar, Kasuri methi and mix
Add milk, curds, cream and adjust the consistency of the gravy according to your choice.
If you want more creamy add more cream
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream
Serve hot with roti,naan,phulkas.
