Methi Palak Rice

Ingredients

2 cups cooked rice with salt to taste (in cooker )

2 sliced onions

5 tsp oil or ghee

3 tsp palak puree or finely chopped (spinach )

1/2 cup chopped methi (fenugreek leaves)

1/4 cup green peas

Make a paste of 3 green chillies ,1 tomato,4 garlic cloves and 1/2 inch ginger

Salt to taste

Corriander leaves for garnishing

1/2 tsp any biryani masala




Procedure

  • In Kadai put oil, saute onions till translucent

  • Add the masala paste and fry well

  • Add palak, methi and green peas

  • Now mix in the cooked rice, biryani masala and mix well

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with any raita.
