Ingredients
1 cup cluster beans/ gawar ki phalli / gorikayi, washed and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 potato cut into small cubes
Salt to taste
Jaggery to taste
For the masala paste:
In 1 tsp oil roast 2 tsp urad dal,1 tsp coriander seeds,4-5 red chillies and 4-5 methi seeds
Grind the above ingredients 3/4 cup coconut gratings, little tamarind
For the tempering:
3 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
Procedure
Cook cluster beans and potato pieces with 1/2 cup water with a little salt, in cooker for 2 whistles
Once it is cooked, add the masala, salt, jaggery and boil it for 5 mins
Add the tempering and mix well
Serve hot with rice and dal.
