Molga pudi or Milagai pudi, basically a coarse spice mixture condiment used as a side dish for south Indian breakfast like idli and dosa. It is typically prepared with chana dal, urad dal, red chilies, and sesame seeds and is popularly used for idli’s as dipping condiments.
Ingredients
3/4 cup dry red chillies
1/2 cup chana dal/ split Bengal gram
1/2 cup urad dal
2 sprigs of curry leaves
1 tsp hing/ asafoetida
Salt to taste
Procedure
Dry roast separately all the ingredients
When it comes to room temperature, put in a mixer grinder and make fine powder
Store in an airtight container.
