Mooli Paratha / Radish Paratha





Ingredients

1 cup grated mooli (radish)

1/2 cup chopped onion

2 crushed green chillies or 1/2 tsp pepper or chilli powder

1 tsp roasted cumin powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

Corriander leaves


For roti:

2 cups wheat flour

Salt to taste

water

Combine all the above ingredients and knead into a soft dough.




Procedure


  • Squeeze out all the water from grated mooli

  • mix chopped onion, and all masalas with it

  • Make a big lemon size ball from the dough and roll it a little, keep 3 tsp stuffing in the centre, sprinkle a pinch of salt and cover it

  • Roll it into a thick roti and roast on tava with ghee or oil

  • Serve hot with dal or curd and pickles

Note: don't add salt to the mixture. You have to add salt only when you roll the parathas. Because mooli will leave the water and it will be difficult for you to roll.
