Moong Ki Tikki

Ingredients


1 cup moong sprouts/ Green gram sprouts

2 small boiled potatoes

3 green chillies

1 tsp cumin pdr

1 tsp chat masala

1/2 tsp garam masala pdr

Chopped coriander leaves

3 tsp cornflour

1/4 cup bread crumbs

Oil for cooking




Procedure


  • Coarsely grind moong sprouts, green chillies without water

  • Add mashed, boiled potatoes and all other ingredients except bread crumbs and oil

  • Mix well, divide into equal portions

  • Flatten each portion and give the shape of tikkis, roll each Tikki in bread crumbs

  • Heat tava and roast all the tikkis on a medium flame, using oil till they become crisp and brown on both the sides

  • Serve hot with ketchup or any other chutney of your choice.

  • Enjoy with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
