Moong sprouts usli / Hesaru KaaLu usli or Green moong sundal is a tasty and healthy snack prepared using sprouted green gram or moong beans. these moong sprouts are very good for health.


Ingredients
1 cup moong sprouts
3-4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 sprig of curry leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
3-4 slit green chillies
2 finely chopped onion
Salt to taste
2 tbsp fresh coconut gratings
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Procedure
Cook moong sprouts in the cooker with a little salt and 1/4 cup water. Cook for only one whistle, as it cooks fast.
Heat oil, add mustard, let it crackle. Tip in the curry leaves, green chillies, and chopped onions.
Saute onions for 5 minutes, add turmeric powder, jeera and fry for a second.
now tip in the boiled sprouts, salt to taste, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
Finally garnish with coconut gratings, chopped coriander leaves, and lemon juice
Serve hot with roti or rice and dal.
