Murg Makhani / Butter Chicken





Ingredients

5oo gms chicken

Marination:

1/4 cup hung curd

1 tsp lime juice

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp garam masala powder

2 tblsp oil


For the gravy:

2 tbsp Butter

1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

4 green chillies chopped

2 tsp Red chilli powder

1 tsp Kasuri Methi

2 Cloves

1/2 inch Cinnamon

1/2 cup Tomato puree

1/2 cup Fresh cream

Coriander leaves chopped





Procedure

  • Wash and clean chicken pieces and marinate with the above ingredients

  • Refrigerate it for a minimum of 1/2 an hour

  • Grill it in OTG at 180 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes till it is almost done

  • In a pan heat butter and put whole garam masala and fry

  • Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, fry fr 5 minutes

  • Add tomato puree and fry for 10 minutes

  • Put chilli powder, Kasuri methi and mix it

  • Add grilled chicken pieces, salt to taste and cook for 5 minutes

  • Add fresh cream and mix well

  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves

  • Serve with rice, roti or naan.
