Ingredients
1 packet mushrooms
5 tsp oil +oil for deep frying
2 onions, cut into big chunks and separate the layers
2 slit green chillies
8 finely chopped garlic cloves
1/2 tsp red chilli pdr or red chilli paste
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsp tomato ketchup
Salt to taste
Chopped spring onion greens
Marinate mushrooms with:
Wash the mushrooms, cut into 2 pieces and marinate with
3 tblsp cornflour
2 tblsp maida
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp pepper powder
Make a paste using little water, marinate the mushroom pieces and deep fry
Procedure
Heat oil, fry chopped garlic, green chillies for 3 mins, add the onion petals
Saute for 5 mins on a high flame with a little salt
Add all the sauces, chilli powder, toss well
Add 1/4 cup water, vinegar mix well, add the fried mushrooms, salt if needed, toss well
Garnish with chopped spring onion greens
Serve hot with noodles or any rice.
You can substitute mushrooms with paneer, potato, baby corn, prawns or chicken.
