Mushroom Pepper Rice

Ingredients

1 cup cooked basmati rice

1 pack of mushrooms

2 tbsp oil

2 sprigs of curry leaves

2 slit green chillies

2 finely sliced onions

2 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander/ dhania powder

1 tsp crushed pepper powder

1/2 tsp garam masala powder

Salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves


Procedure

  • Wash mushrooms and chop them into slices. Heat oil and put curry leaves, sliced green chillies, and sliced onions.

  • Fry till the onions turn transparent. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 mins.

  • Add the chopped mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes.

  • Put the spice powders one by one and give a good mix.

  • Add salt to taste and cooked rice. Give a good mix.

  • Cook further for 5 minutes and turn off the flame.

  • Serve hot with any raitha.
