Ingredients

3/4 cup all-purpose flour / maida

2 tbsp besan / chickpea flour

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup ghee

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Nuts finely chopped for garnishing




Procedure


  • In a mixing bowl combine maida, baking soda, besan, cardamom powder

  • In another bowl whip, ghee, and sugar powder together with a hand mixer till it becomes a smooth mixture(1 minute on low speed and 2 mins on high speed)

  • Slowly fold the flour mixture into the sugar mixture and knead it together

  • Now make small size balls and press on top with your palm to flatten it a bit, and place the nuts on top as garnish

  • Place the balls on a baking tray with 1-inch gap

  • Bake at 300 F/ 180C in preheated oven, for 10 to 12 mins

  • Keep a close eye after 9 mins, as it can burn easily

  • Take it out and rest for 5 - 10 mins, as they are very soft and can break if you try to eat them immediately
