Ingredients
1/2 cup rice
1 cup water
2 tblsp ghee
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 cup jaggery
1 cup grated fresh coconut
8-10 cashew nuts
8-10 raisins
Procedure
Wash rice, add water, and cook in cooker for 3-4 whistles
Add ghee in a pan and heat it sufficiently, add cashews n raisins into it
Fry for a second and add grated coconut, crushed jaggery and mix well
Cook until the jaggery melts completely
Now add cooked rice and mix gently all the ingredients
Cover the vessel and cook bhaat for 10- 15 mins on a low flame
After cooking open the lid and add the cardamom pdr into it
Garnish with roasted cashews and raisins and serve hot.
