Ingredients
2O bhindis/okra/ lady's fingers
Salt to taste
2 tsp roasted jeera pdr
2 tsp red chili pdr
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tblsp besan/ chickpea flour
3 tblsp cornflour
2 tblsp rice flour
Curry leaves(optional)
Oil for deep frying
Procedure
Wash and wipe the bhindis, trim the ends and cut into 4 pieces (lengthwise)
Add salt, toss well and keep aside for half an hour
After half an hour add all the spice powders and mix well
Add the rice flour, cornflour, besan, and toss well, so that all the bhindis are coated well with the masala
Keep for 10 mins, heat oil, and fry on a medium flame till it becomes crisp
Garnish with fried curry leaves and serve hot with rice and dal.
