Ingredients
1 large onion
1/2 tomato
1 tsp oil
5-6 red chillies
4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
1 tsp tamarind
Salt to taste
for tempering:
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard
curry leaves
1 red chilli
Procedure
Peel, chop onion and tomato
In a pan heat, oil add cumin seeds and allow to crack, add red chillies, garlic and saute
Add chopped onion and fry until light brown.
Add tomato and saute for 2-3 mins
Turn off the flame and allow it to cool
Grind with salt, tamarind into a fine paste adding water if required
Temper with the mentioned ingredients
Serve with dosa, idli or Rotis.
