Ingredients
2 big onions
1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
2 tblsp cornflour
1 tsp red chilli flakes
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Water as required
Procedure
Mix all the ingredients with water and make a medium thick batter( except oil and onions)
Cut the onion into 1/4 inch thick rings
Separate the layers of onion rings
Heat oil in a kadhai
Dip each ring in the batter and deep fry into crispy rings
Serve hot with ketchup.
