Paneer Roll





Ingredients

For the Roti:

1 cup wheat flour

Pinch of salt

Water ( to knead the dough )

For the stuffing:

1/2 cup Paneer pieces

1 chopped Onion

3 Garlic cloves

1 finely chopped Tomato

1/2 tsp Garam Masala

1/2 tsp Soya sauce

1/2 tsp roasted Jeera Powder

2 tsp Chilli powder

3 tsp Oil

Salt to taste

1 tbsp Mayonnaise per Roti (Optional)




Procedure


  • Knead the dough and make rotis.

  • Heat oil in a pan, saute finely chopped garlic and onion.

  • When it is half done, add the finely chopped tomatoes and fry.

  • Now add garam masala, jeera powder, soya sauce, and chilli powder.

  • Add the Paneer pieces and salt to taste.

  • Give it a good mix and then add the chopped corriander leaves.

  • Spread mayonnaise on the roti. Place the stuffing along a line and roll it.

  • Serve with Tomato ketchup.

  • This is a good dish for children's tiffin boxes and also a good tea-time snack.
