Ingredients
For the tikka:
100 gms paneer cut into cubes
1 small onion cut into chunks and separate the layers
1/2 capsicum cut into chunks
FOR MARINATION:
2tblsp thick curd /hung curd
3 tsp besan/gram flour
1/2 tsp chat masala
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp roasted jeera pdr
1/2 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
salt to taste
Marinate paneer, onion and capsicum chunks with the above ingredients and keep for 30 mins
Heat tava and roast it lightly OR grill it and keep aside
Ingredients for the gravy:
5 tsp oil
whole garam masalas like 1 cardamom,1 bay leaf,1 clove and a piece of cinnamon
2 chopped onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Cashew and tomato paste ( Soak 10 cashew and grind with 1 tomato)
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp kitchen king masala or any other garam masala
1 tsp daniya jeera pdr
1 tsp Kasuri meth
2 tblsp fresh cream
chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Procedure
In a pan heat tava and put the whole garam masala and fry for a min.
add ginger garlic paste and fry for 3 mins
Put the onion chopped and fry till it becomes transparent
Put the cashew tomato paste and fry, followed by all the other spice powders
Fry for a minute and add grilled paneer, onion, capsicum, salt and 1/2 cup water and cook
Add Kasuri methi, cream and give a nice stir and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Serve with roti or naan or any rice.
