Paper Dosa

Ingredients


1 cup dosa rice

1/4 cup urad dal

1/4 cup mixed dal like chana dal, moong dal, and Toor dal

1 tsp methi seeds

1/2 cup Poha/Avalakki/beaten rice

Salt to taste



Procedure

  • Soak rice, methi seeds, and dals in water for 5-6 hrs

  • Wash Poha and soaked rice, dal mixture and grind into a smooth batter

  • Ferment for 7-8 hrs, add salt and make thin dosas

  • Smear a tsp of red chutney on dosa and cook till it becomes crisp

  • Remove dosa and serve with coconut chutney and potato bhaji.
