Pattha Gobi Paratha





Ingredients

1 cup finely chopped pattha gobi/cabbage

1 finely chopped onion

1 tsp green chilli paste

1 tsp jeera pdr

1/2 tsp chat masala

1/2 tsp haldi pdr

1/2 tsp garam masala pdr

chopped coriander leaves

3 tsp oil + oil or ghee for cooking paratha

salt to taste


For the roti:

1 cup wheat flour

Salt to taste

Water as needed




Procedure

  • Mix the ingredients of roti and knead a semi-soft dough and keep covered

  • Wash cabbage and chop finely

  • In a pan heat oil and saute onions for 2 mins

  • Add green chilli paste and fry for 2 mins

  • Add cabbage and saute for 5 mins on a high flame

  • Add all the spices, coriander leaves and switch off the gas

  • Add salt and mix well

  • Divide the dough into portions and make balls

  • Roll each ball and stuff around 2 tblsp of stuffing, close it and again roll into semi-thick paratha

  • Heat pan and cook the parathas adding oil or ghee on both the sides

  • serve hot with curds and pickles or any chutney of your choice and enjoy.
