
Ingredients
1 cup fresh green peas
1 potato cut into cubes
2 tblsp curd
4 tsp oil
1 tsp jeera/ cumin seeds
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp kitchen king masala or any garam masala
2 tsp Kasuri methi
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
For the masala paste:
In 2 tsp oil fry 1 chopped onion,1/2 inch ginger,4 garlic cloves till onion becomes light brown, and grind with 5-6 cashew nuts into a fine paste.
Procedure
Boil potato cubes and green peas with 1/2 cup water and a little salt, in cooker for 2 whistles
In a pan heat oil, add jeera, when it splutters, put the ground masala paste fry till oil leaves the sides
Add the spice powders one by one and fry for 3-4 mins
Now put the curd and mix well
Drop in the boiled potato, green peas, salt to taste
add little water and adjust the consistency according to your taste
Put the Kasuri methi and boil for 5 mins
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with pooris,rotis, or chapati.
