Potato Capsicum Sagle

Ingredients

1 cup capsicum cut into cubes

2 boiled potatoes cut into cubes

4 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

curry leaves

Salt to taste


For the masala paste:

2 cups grated coconut

1/2 tsp tamarind pulp

In 1 tsp oil roast 2 tsp urad dal (black gram),1/2 tsp coriander seeds, and 5 red chillies till light brown----Grind these ingredients into a little coarse masala and keep aside.





Procedure


  • In a pan take 1 tsp oil and saute capsicum with little salt till it is cooked

  • Add boiled potato, ground masala,1/2 cup water, salt to taste, and cook for 5-10 minutes

  • Temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
