Potato Chilli Roast





Ingredients

1 cup boiled and peeled potato (don't overcook the potatoes)

4 tsp oil

2 onions roughly chopped

1/2 inch ginger

6 garlic cloves

1 green chilli

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp lime juice

1/2 tsp soya sauce

Salt to taste


For the marination:

Marinate the potatoes with1/2 tsp salt.1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp chilli powder and keep for 15 minutes




Procedure

  • Grind coarsely onion, ginger, green chilli and garlic

  • In a Kadai heat oil and fry, the ground onion mixture till the raw smell goes

  • Add chilli powder, soya sauce and fry for a minute

  • Add marinated potatoes, salt to taste and roast them for 10 minutes

  • Add lime juice and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot with rice or rotis.
