Ingredients
2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
2 tsp besan
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
Ingredients for tempering:
3-4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp chana dal
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 sprig of curry leaves
2 chopped green chillies
1/2 inch ginger chopped
1 onion finely chopped
Procedure
In a pan heat oil, add mustard, when it starts crackling add curry leaves, urad dal, chana dal, and fry till it becomes light brown
Add turmeric pdr, green chillies, ginger chopped, and fry
Put chopped onions, fry till transparent
Put besan and fry for a minute, then add boiled, mashed potato, salt, and 2 cups water and salt
Make it boil for 5 mins, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice
Serve hot with rava idli and enjoy.
