Ingredients
250 gms Chopped Prawns ( Deveined and cleaned )
1 tsp chopped Ginger
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp chopped Garlic
1 tbsp Maida
1 tbsp chopped Corriander leaves
1/2 tsp Lime juice
Oil for deep frying
For the batter/Crumbing:
1 Egg
1 tbsp Maida
1 cup Crushed cornflakes Or Coarsely powdered Rusk
Procedure
In a bowl marinate the chopped prawns with ginger, green chillies, garlic, maida, coriander leaves and lime juice.
Make the batter by mixing the egg with maida.
Make small roundels of prawn mixture, dip this in the batter.
Then roll this in the crushed cornflakes and deep fry these until they turn brown.
Serve hot with Tea or as Starters
