Rajma Tikki






Ingredients

1 cup soaked and boiled rajma (red kidney beans)

1 finely chopped onion

2 bread slices

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

2 tsp finely chopped ginger and garlic

Chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste

Oil for shallow frying




Procedure

  • Make a little coarse paste of rajma(don't add water)

  • Add the remaining ingredients except for oil

  • Mix well, divide into equal portions and make balls

  • Flatten each ball and shape into tikkis, roll them in bread crumbs, and shallow fry

  • Serve hot with ketchup
