Rava Murku





Ingredients

2 cups water

1 cup fine rava (chiroti rava )

1 cup rice flour

1 tblsp butter

Salt to taste

1 tsp sesame seeds

1 tsp cumin seeds

pinch hing

1/2 tsp chilli powder

Oil for deep frying




Procedure


  • In a pan boil water and add the rava, and the other seasonings, and keep stirring till it becomes thick

  • Remove from the gas and add butter, rice flour and knead a soft dough using little water if required

  • Take Chakli maker,use Muruku plate. Grease the mould and put the dough inside it.

  • Press directly in the hot oil and deep fry on a medium flame.

  • Once it turns crisp and golden in colour, transfer them on an absorbant paper.

  • Store in an airtight jar once it comes to room temperature.
