Raw Mango and Cauliflower Pickle




Ingredients


2 medium-sized raw mangoes

1/2 cup finely chopped gobi/ cauliflower

1/3 cup salt

1/3 cup mustard

3 cups of water

Gooseberry size hing/ asafoetida

30 red chillies




Procedure


  • Wash chopped gobi and spread on a kitchen towel until it becomes dry

  • Wipe the raw mango and cut it into small cubes

  • Take water and salt in a vessel and make it boil for 5 mins and let it cool

  • Grind red chillies,hing and mustard into a fine paste, using boiled and cooled saltwater

  • Mix the ground masala, raw mango cubes and chopped cauliflower and store in an airtight glass bottle.

  • If it is too thick then add boiled and cooled water to dilute it.

  • Always use a dry and clean spoon

  • You can use this after 3 -4 days of preparation.
