Restaurant style Chutney






Ingredients

1/4 cup coconut gratings

1/2 cup roasted gram /putani /hurigadale

3 green chillies

1/2 inch ginger

2 garlic cloves

5-6 curry leaves/kadipattha

1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste

Small chickpea size tamarind


For tempering:

2 tsp oil

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp urad dal/chana dal

Curry leaves

Pinch of hing/asafoetida




Procedure

  • Grind all the ingredients mentioned. Make a smooth paste.

  • Add water and adjust the consistency as per your taste.

  • Add the tempering with the ingredients mentioned.

  • Serve with idli,dosa.
