Ingredients
4 cups dosa rice
1 cup urad dal
3 tsp methi seeds
1 fistful / mushti cooked rice
Oil for cooking dosa
1/2 tsp cooking soda (optional)
Salt to taste
Procedure
Soak rice, dal, and methi seeds in enough water for 5- 6 hrs, wash and drain the water
Grind the soaked dal, rice mixture in the mixer with cooked rice into a smooth batter
Keep overnight in a warm place for fermentation
Next morning, add salt, soda mix well
Heat paniyaram tava and make paniyarams adding oil
Cook both the sides and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
