Ingredients
1 cup soaked chic peas/ Kabuli chana
5-6 tsp oil
2 chopped onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 chopped tomato
1 chopped green chilli
1/4 cup chopped spinach/palak
1/4 cup chopped methi/fenugreek leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp chole masala
1/2 tsp daniya/coriander pdr
1/2 tsp jeera/cumin pdr
2 tblsp curd
2 tblsp fresh cream
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Salt to taste
Procedure
Cook soaked chana with 1 cup water for 4-5 whistles or till it becomes soft
In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onions and green chillies
Once the onion becomes translucent add ginger garlic paste and fry
Put the chopped tomato and fry till it becomes pulpy
Add spinach and methi leaves and saute for 5 mins
Add salt and all the spice powders and fry for 2 mins
Put boiled chana and 1/2 cup water, make it boil
Add curd and cream and give one boil
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with poori or phulkas.
