Satpura is a delicious, crispy, layered Sindhi sweet. You can serve this as it is or with badam/plain milk topped with some dry fruits.

Ingredients
1 cup maida/all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
Water as needed to knead the dough
Oil for deep frying
1/2 cup sugar powder
1 tsp cardamom/elaichi powder
Chopped nuts for garnishing
To make paste/saathe
3 tbsp ghee
3 tbsp maida
Mix both and make a paste. Keep aside.
Procedure
Take a bowl, put maida, salt and mix well.
Adding water little by little knead it into a semi-soft dough,
Apply 1/2 tsp oil over the dough and keep covered for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, divide the dough into balls and roll into roti as thin as possible.
Apply the prepared paste all over the roti and sprinkle little maida over it.
Like this make a layer of 5 or 4 rotis. Cut it into 1-inch strips and fold them on fingers and make a round roll.
Roll these lightly, again using oil or ghee only if needed.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these on a low flame, taking care not to make it dark brown. It should be crisp.
Drain the oil from the satpuras and let them cool.
Sprinkle sugar powder and cardamom powder on it . Garnish with chopped nuts.
