Ingredients
1/2 cup peeled, chopped and boiled seemebadane / Chayote squash
1 small onion finely chopped
1 green chilli finely chopped
2 tsp coconut oil
Salt to taste
For the masala paste:
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
chickpea size tamarind
2 red chillies roasted in little oil
Grind the above into a fine paste adding little water
Procedure
Put the boiled seemebadane in a bowl and mash well with your hands
add the masala paste, chopped onions, green chilli, coconut oil and salt
Mix well and serve immediately with rice and dal
