Ingredients
4 cups dosa rice
2 cups poha/ avalakki / beaten rice
1 tsp methi/fenugreek seeds
1 cup curds
1/2 tsp cooking soda
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking dosa
Procedure
Soak rice, with methi seeds for 5-6 hrs
Wash well, and grind with washed poha into a smooth batter
Add curds and mix well
Let it ferment for 8 hrs
Before making dosa add salt, cooking soda and mix well
Heat Tava and make thick dosa, adding 2 tsp oil
Cook on both sides (optional)
Serve hot with coconut chutney
