Set Dosa With Chutney





Ingredients


Rice 1.5 cups dosa rice

1/2 cup idli rice

1/2 cup urad dal

1/2 cup thick poha

1/2 tsp methi/ fenugreek seeds

Salt to taste

Pinch of cooking soda

Oil for cooking dosa




Procedure

  • Soak rice, dal,poha, and methi seeds in water for 6-7 hrs, wash and grind to a smooth batter

  • Keep covered in a warm place for fermentation, for 8-10 hrs

  • The next day add salt, cooking soda, and water if needed

  • Heat tava, and make thick dosas, serve hot with coconut chutney or saagu.
