Stuffed Parval/Pointed Gourd





Ingredients

10 parvals (pointed gourd)

2 tsp oil +3 tsp oil

5 garlic cloves

1 chopped onion

3 tblsp chopped capsicum

2 tsp grated carrot

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp lime juice

1 tsp cumin seeds

coriander leaves

Salt to taste



Procedure

  • Wash and peel parvals and make a slit in it and scoop the flesh inside it and keep

  • In a Kadai take 2 tsp oil and saute chopped garlic and onion for 5 minutes, add scooped portion of parval and stir.

  • Add capsicum and carrot grated, salt, and all spices, lime juice and mix well

  • Stuff around 2 tsp in the parval

  • In a pan take 3 tsp oil .add jeera(cumin seeds) and stuffed parvals, 1/4 cup water and cover with a lid

  • Cook till parvals becomes soft

  • Serve with hot roti.
