Tava Aalu






Ingredients

2 potatoes cut into small slices

1 cup chopped methi (fenugreek leaves)

2 chopped onions

5 chopped garlic cloves

3 tsp oil

2 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp daniya powder(coriander )

2 tsp jeera powder(cumin)

1/2 tsp haldi powder(turmeric)

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp lime juice




Procedure


  • In a pan take 3 tsp oil, saute potatoes with salt for 5-10 minutes.

  • Add capsicum and diced onions and saute for 2 minutes

  • In another pan take 2 tsp oil add tomato puree and fry well

  • Put all spices, fry for a minute, add water

  • Mix well and put potato, capsicum, onion, and salt if needed and mix till the masala is coated

  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
