Ingredients
2 medium-size tomatoes
1 green chilli
salt to taste
Little jaggery to taste(optional)
for masala:
2 tbsp fresh grated coconut
2 or three roasted red chillies
1 tsp coriander seeds(daniya)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds(jeera)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
4-5 peppercorns
1/2 tomato
grind the above ingredients into a fine paste and keep.
for tempering:
3 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
little asafoetida powder(hing)
curry leaves
Procedure
In a vessel take finely chopped tomatoes and slit green chilli and cook it with 2 cups of water till it is blended
Add the masala, salt, jaggery and water if needed and make it boil
Temper with the ingredients
Garnish with coriander leaves.
