Pasta alfredo is a creamy pasta made with mixed veggies. The creaminess comes from the addition of fresh cream.
Ingredients
1 cup boiled penne pasta
2 baby corns cut into thin Julians
1/4 cup red, green capsicum Julians
3 tsp butter
1 chopped onion
3 chopped garlic cloves
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp low fat cream
2 tbsp water
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp oregano
Salt to taste
Procedure
Heat butter in a pan, saute garlic and onion chopped for 2 minutes
Add capsicum and baby corn Julians and saute for 3 minutes
Add milk, cheese, and water and mix well
Add pepper powder, oregano, and boiled pasta and toss well
Finally, garnish with cream and serve hot.
